The Heir of Time adds Leah Eddleston as Sel

Who is Sel?

Empathetic, educated, and selfless to a fault, Sel is young but carries a heavy burden. Her parents are at opposing ends of an impasse over their fractured monarchy, malicious forces conspire around her, and all the while she is torn between two versions of herself, the girl she is and the woman she becomes.

Sel’s struggle for identity and control takes her further away from the life she knew as she is pulled across the galaxy as an unwilling pawn in a mysterious game being played in the shadows of council rooms and battlefields.

Who is Leah Eddleston?

Leah graduated from ALRA North in 2022, and since then has performed in a variety of projects, including the feature film Habit, several short films (Where the Light Falls, Loser Like Larkin, The Heron), and theatre (Sherica, Skyglow, Taming of the Shrew, The Walrus and the Painter, Hope is a Thing with Feathers, On Me). Leah is super excited to be playing Sel in Heir of Time, which marks her debut into motion capture!

Leah is thrilled to bring Sel to life in this upcoming sci-fi fantasy flick. Being one of her first professional times doing motion capture, she has managed to not only navigate herself moving in this virtual space, but to also act as Sel in the world of the Heir of Time. "That's me! But it's not me. But it IS me!" she describes her experience.

What is 'the Heir of Time'?

In a universe on the brink of galactic war, an elven princess is born with the ability to control an ancient and powerful magic, time itself.

After Sel's home world is plunged into chaos, she must set out into the galaxy with a few friends she can trust in the hopes to utilise Sel's powers and restore peace to the galaxy.
